Super 3 Bluebird on Pendine Sands | Super 3 Origins
Published 17th September 2024.
This month marks 100 years since Malcolm Campbell's original Sunbeam Bluebird took to Pendine Sands to set a world speed record of 146.16mph. A fitting reason to return with our very own Super 3 Bluebird, piloted by Malcolm's grandson, Donald Wales.
It was Wales' uncle, Donald Campbell, and his creation Bluebird CN7, that inspired the Super 3 Bluebird commission. And whilst we weren't trying to set a land speed record in Super 3, the film pays homage to an incredible British pioneer.
